Lockwood Schools has long supported the use of technologies such as telephones, television, computers, video cameras, scanners, and digital cameras throughout the school system. There are currently three computer labs in the school which are equipped with MacIntosh computers. Sets of iBook laptop computers are also available for check-out to classrooms. At least one computer is available in each classroom, and all of the computers in the district have Internet access. Classrooms also have telephones, television sets and VCRs.
The staff at Lockwood Schools is provided with many opportunities to improve their technology skills and to learn new ones. Inservice training and classes are provided through the professional development programs. Mrs. Pam Richau and Mrs. Darlene Hess direct the technology program!
