Tech Talks III...Try, Try Again
Download the PDF of this information here>>.
We are offering the ever popular Tech Talk series again this year with a bit of a twist.
Tech Talks III will include eight 1 1/2 hour sessions of technology tips, tricks and
training. Tech Talk class meets the first Thursday of each month, 3:30 to 5:00, with
a few extra squeezed in. As in the past, you must commit to 4 of the 8 sessions and if
you are a diehard, you can attend all 8. The class price will be based on the number of classes you
attend.
Minimum 4 sessions - $30.00 5-6 sessions - $40.00 7-8 sessions - $50.00
Here’s the twist...once you have taken the minimum 4 Tech Talk sessions, you have qualified to attend Lockwood’s Summer Technology Institute. The Institute will provide time, support and instruction to help you turn your Tech Talk knowledge into integrated classroom technology lessons. You’ll have 15 hours (4 morning classes) to develop at least two (and maybe more, if you’re quick) technology lessons. Taking the Tech Talk classes does not require you to attend the Summer Institute, it qualifies you. Tech Talks III is the prerequisite class for Summer Institute 2010. The other twist in this grand plan is the change in timing for Summer Institute. We will offer the institute August 17-20, 8-12:00, just in time to be fresh and ready for the new school year.
