VISION STATEMENT

The Lockwood School Community envisions a safe, nurturing environment where, through collaboration, members become lifelong learners.  Our vision is to

• enable children to connect learning to their life experiences
• teach students to be successful readers, writers, and communicators who can problem solve and make wise decisions
• provide opportunities for student enrichment and activities that will afford physical, mental, and social development
• provide a student-centered, research-based curriculum which focuses on active construction of knowledge and an emphasis on the child as an individual
