CALL TO ORDER
The work session for School District No. 26, Lockwood Schools, Yellowstone County, was held in the Board Room, 1932 U.S. Highway 87, Billings, Montana on Wednesday, August 1, 2007.
Trustees and officers present were Trustees: Jason Hamrick, Tim Sather, Becky Malenowsky, Greg Bochy, Peter Freivalds, Teresa Stroebe, and Sue Vinton, Superintendent Eileen Johnson and District Clerk Diane Brook.
Chair Vinton called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m. and led those present in the pledge of allegiance.
The Board of Trustees met in a work session in the Board Room to discuss goal setting.
Consensus will be used to build the goals until action can be taken at a future regular meeting.
The discussion focused on these four areas:
Academic Standards and Student Success
Goal setting encompassed these areas and how they affect students. The results of the discussions are detailed on the attached sheet.
It was determined that the items identified will be re-visited at another work session where they will be clarified and finalized.
The meeting concluded at 9:37 p.m.
