The Board of Trustees for Lockwood Schools is required via court order
to be present at the Federal Courthouse for the purpose of a jury trial
for the lawsuit listed below.
Cause No. CV 01-183-BLG-RFC: Joe C. McCracken and Leah K. McCracken
(Plaintiffs) versus Lockwood School District #26, and Trustees: Robert
Guenther, Tom Neujahr, Gayle Walker, Teresa Stroebe, and Becky Webber,
individually and in their individual capacities as Trustees of Lockwood
School District #26. (Defendants)
CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Tim Trafford called the special meeting to order at approximately
12:45 p.m. Trustees present were Robert Guenther, Rebecca Webber,
Teresa Stroebe, Gayle Walker, Greg Bochy, Jim Painter, and Tim Trafford. Past
trustee Tom Neujahr, District Clerk Diane Brook, and Superintendent Eileen
Johnson, Attorney Bobbi Frazer, Attorney Ken Tolliver, Attorney Martha
Sheehy, and Joe and Leah McCracken were also present.
Mr. Trafford led the pledge of allegiance.
The trial started at 1:00 p.m., May 4, 2004, continued each day until
it concluded May 7, 2004, at approximately 5:25 p.m.
The special board meeting was continued from day to day until the conclusion
of the trial.
The court transcript of the trial proceedings, which will be on file
at the Federal Courthouse, provides documentation and serves as minutes
of this special meeting.
ADJOURN
The meeting was adjourned at approximately 5:30 p.m. Friday, May 7,
2004.
