Meet President Barbara Frank
My name is Barbara Frank and I am the President of the Lockwood PTA for the 2007-2008 school year. I have four children; two attending Lockwood Primary, a freshman at Senior High, and a baby girl. My husband Casey and I have lived in Lockwood for many years and are true believers in community activism. I am currently employed as an Intervention Specialist in the Primary school at Lockwood and love to spend my free time reading, writing, and exploring the great outdoors.

I attended Lockwood school as a child and believe I couldn't have received a better education anywhere. Lockwood school has so much to offer our students and community, and PTA has the ability to play an amazing role. We welcome new members and volunteers and are always looking for ways to make PTA even stronger. Please join us for a meeting or get involved through our many volunteer opportunities.

Meet Secretary Paige Gottwals
Hi, my name is Paige Gottwals, and I am the PTA Secretary for the Girl 2007-2008 school year. I joined the PTA Board last January. I have two children at Lockwood Schools and I am currently a paraprofessional in the Primary Building. We moved to Lockwood in 2004 and have experienced first-hand the generosity of this community during the fire of August 2006. I wanted to be more involved in my children's school and the community, so joining the PTA seemed like the perfect fit. Meet Treasurer Lacy McDougall
My name is Lacy McDougall, and I'm proud to be your PTA treasurer for this year. My family and I have lived in Lockwood for about five years now, and we love it here. My husband Rick and I have two sons that attend Lockwood school, Calob who is in the 5th grade and Keegan who is in Kindergarten. I work at RedOxx as a seamstress, and I love to learn about rocks, planets, crafts, gardening, and anything else that catches my attention.

Boy Drawing I believe that parenting along with schooling is the most important thing in our children's lives. I'm glad to have found a great school for my children and am trying to be a great parent for them, too. I would really like to get more parents more involved with their children, despite their busy schedules. Parents are the most important thing in their children's lives, and I think society has forgotten that. I would like to remind them of that and provide the resources for them to know how. Granted, I'm still learning and am sure I always will be. But, I like to help. :-)

Lockwood is a great school, and I love the small community. I'm excited to help out with all the activities that the PTA provides and maybe come up with some new ones. So far I've met lots of wonderful people and learned a lot about how I can help out in children's and teachers' lives.
