Thank you to everyone, especially the volunteers for a great PTA Bookfair. Thanks go to Sue Vinton and the boys, Sam and Austin Walter, Lori Grusing, Tamara and Shelby Spillum, Billie Voldseth, DeeAnn Nielsen, Becky Conner.

Next year the PTA Bookfair will be held September 25 & 26, 2008. TWO DAYS ONLY! Our new location will be in the Voting Gym.

Special thanks to Alyssa West and Dakota for the great artwork for this year's bookfair.

Teacher Appreciation Week:
The first week in May is Teacher Appreciation Week and the May 4th is National Teacher Day. The Lockwood PTA would like to extend a big "Thank You" to all the Lockwood teachers for the great job they do for our students.

The Lockwood community is invited to thank their favorite teacher. One way to do that is to visit the Teacher Thank You Card web site and sign the "Nation's Largest Teacher Thank You Card". All the information about how to be part of this project is available on the site.

Anyone interested in helping with the teacher appreciation week, including the luncheons during the week, can contact Barbara at 671-7022.

Organizational Meeting in May:

The Lockwood PTA is having an organizational session as at part of the May 6th meeting. Committee chairs are needed for events during next school year. We would like to plan as much in advance as possible so we can complete some of the prep work this summer.

• Everyone is invited to attend the PTA meetings. Babysitting is provided at no charge and we have great refreshments. Come get to know us and join the Lockwood PTA.
