PTA Needs Your Help! - Lion's Lair Extreme Makeover (posted 03/05/12)
The Lockwood PTA is seeking interested individuals to form a Lion's Lair committee. We are in need of a chairperson and committee members to assist with the Lion's Lair Makeover Project. We are also seeking an individual with playground equipment, building code, etc. experience to serve as a chairperson, committee member or advisor for the project. Anyone interested in joining this committee can contact Sicily Morris at 406-696-1566. Thank you for your support!

President: Sicily Morris
Sicily Morris is a mother of four who enjoys volunteering in the community and working with individuals and organizations to provide positive benefits to society. In addition, she enjoys watching her children play sports, skiing, gardening, and traveling with her family and friends.
Vice-President: Heidi Wilson
Secretary: Heidi Kocsis
Treasurer: Gina Frost
Gina has 3 children, 2 currently attending our school. She understands the importance in being involved in community events and in her children's academic and extracurricular activities. Gina attended Lockwood School K-8 and is proud to be a part of such a reputable school!

PTA Mission

To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children;
To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children;
To encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation

The Purpose of the PTA

To promote the welfare of the children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship.
To raise the standards of home life.
To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.
To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.
