As the school changes, so does the website. The biggest change for the 2011-12 school year is the addition of the Lockwood Elementary School K-5 area that replaces the Primary and Intermediate school portions of the site.

The Welcome Page and each main area page on the site have a drop-down navigation menu. The Quick Links menu has links to all the major areas of the site such as the school board, administration, family resource center, elementary school, and middle school. Under General Interest visitors will find links to the bus routes, supply lists, lunch schedules, school board minutes, contact information and much more. Also look for a drop-down menu under Parent Center, Student Center, and Staff Center. The last option in the menu bar is FAQ where there is a list of questions that are frequently asked about the school.

The Welcome Page has direct links to the monthly calendars, including the athletic events. Upcoming events at the school are posted one to two weeks before they occur and are updated almost daily. You will find a direct link to the K-5 and Middle School breakfast and lunch menus, the school libraries, and the online version of the school newsletter. If you would like to be on the mailing list for the school newsletter, there is a link for that, too. There is also a link to "The Board Room" and individual teacher mini-sites.

Some community groups and organizations have areas on the Lockwood School site where events and other information are posted. Contact the webmaster at kirknessd@lockwoodschool.org if your group or organization would like to have an event or information posted on the Lockwood site.

Area businesses also have links on the "Going Online with the Lockwood Community" page. (Some sites may not be appropriate to be listed on an educational website. Lockwood School reserves the right to decide if a site will be listed.)
