Lunch Changes

At the June meeting the School Board approved new
lunch prices as follows:
Elementary K-5 $2.35 Middle School 6-8 $2.45

The School Board approved a change to the number of meals a student can charge at the July meeting. The new policy allows for a 2-meal limit for charges to student accounts.

Coming this fall
Watch for our new online lunch account payment system. You will have the option of paying your student’s lunch bill online. Our goal is to have this in place by mid September.

The Nurse will be available.  You will find her room in between the K-2 office and the library.

Feel free to stop by her office with any questions or to drop off medications your child may need during school hours.

Plan to spend a few minutes to fill out the necessary paper work for any emergency, as needed, or daily medications you are leaving for your child.

Yellowstone Boys and Girls Club
Lockwood Campus

Join the growing number of kids at the Boys & Girls Club/Lockwood Learning Center! This popular after school program has provided the youth of Lockwood Schools with a safe place to learn and grow through ongoing relationships with caring adult professionals. Kids can participate in fun programs that promote learning, character development, life skills, fitness and much more.

Registration dates are Monday, August 22 - Wednesday, August 24, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. or during the school open house on August 24. A new member parent orientation must be scheduled before your child can attend the club.

The club will open on Thursday, August 25, to all Kindergarten-8th graders who attend school in Lockwood. Club hours will be from 2:55 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Parents of new or kindergarten children are encouraged to have their child visit free for a day and tour the club.

A fee of $10 per child covers membership during the regular school year. For further information, or to schedule your new member orientation, call the club at 254-1973 or 245-2582.
