Minutes from

10/7/04 meeting are as follows:
Members present: Middle school staff

Discussion:

Staff were given overview of our initial progress in the MBI process and were presented with the mission and vision developed by the core MBI team. It was suggested by staff that a female version of our lion logo be developed and incorporated into our communications to further promote our vision statement that "everyone" is valued. This idea was favorably met and our artist will be directed to develop a female version of our logo.  Staff commented positively on the LION PRIDE mission and noted the similarity and how well it will fit in with our current Lion Pride student nomination process.

Other staff comments/suggestions:

• Place MBI page in our student and staff planners
• Have T-shirts made
• Staff member expressed a concern/question about all staff being valued in the building (see above)
• Use one letter from the Vision Statement as a teaching tool for each month of the school year
• MBI team members encouraged all staff to participate in MBI
• Website update
