Minutes from

8/24/04 meeting are as follows:
Members present:  Middle School teaching staff

Discussion:  On August 24, 2004 the Lockwood Middle School staff was introduced to MBI.  At this meeting, the site team introduced the MBI beliefs and background information through the use of the ready-made Power Point presentation.  Hard copies were also distributed so the staff was able to follow along and jot notes as needed.  Brent Lipp, the site leader, primarily read the presentation as staff followed along.  Mike Sullivan and Linda Ruegsegger added information and answered questions during the presentation.  All team members shared some personal experience from the Summer Institute and strongly encouraged participation and willingness to see what MBI is all about.  The presentation lasted about forty-five minutes.
