My
Name is Chloe: diary of a teenage girl
by
Melody Carlson
Thank you so much for having this book! It was an awesome
book and I loved every chapter. This book is about a girl
who learns through lessons about following God, her heart
and her dreams and deals with a lot of problems that teens
have. The book is a real page turner.

At
the Stroke of Madness
by
Alex Kava
Really good mystery book. It's about a FBI agent who
gets involved in the death of an unidentified woman found
buried in a 55-gallon drum. I really liked how there were
a lot of interrelated characters in the book who sort
of fit into the story like pieces of a puzzle. It was
cool how everything came together in the end. The story
has a lot of twists and turns and it's hard to be sure who
the killer is until the very end.

Outsiders
by
S.E. Hinton
The Outsiders is a wonderful story about three very
heroic boys who live on the "bad" side of town and
get beat up a lot, because they are greasers. I saw the movie
first and was surprised that the book is very much like the
movie. I liked how the book puts things into perspective--appearances
can be deceiving and just because someone looks or acts different
doesn't mean they're that much different than us.

Blue
is for Nightmares
by
Laurie Stolarz
I liked this mystery/horror book. The main character
keeps having these dreams that come true. When she dreams
that her friend is going to be murdered she tries to warn
her, but has trouble convincing her friend to believe that
she is in danger. Blue is for Nightmares is
the first book in a trilogy and I plan to read the other two
because the first was real good and the way it ended makes
me want to read more.

One
Child
by
Tory Hayden
This is a true story that at times is funny but it can also
be depressing because of the struggles this six year old girl
goes through during a school year. The book has lots
of detail and is not boring. It's a very good book, but it's
not a book for young kids.

A
Stir of Bones
by Nina Kiriki Hoffman
A ghost story that is definitely worth reading. Susan
and her friends end up at a haunted house where she becomes
aware of not only the house being alive, but of Nathan, the
ghost of a boy who died in the house. Mysterious and
suspenseful.

How
Angel Peterson got his name
by Gary Paulsen
When Gary Paulsen and his friends were around thirteen they
used to try daredevil stunts and sports that they'd read or
heard about-- like trying to break landspeed records and other
stuff like that. The book is funny in parts and it makes
you want to know what happens next.

Sisterhood
of the Traveling Pants
by
Ann Brashares
Four best friend are going different places for the first
time in their lives. They find a pair of pants that
magically fits each of the friends even though they are different
sizes. This is a funny story that is really hard to
put down about the friends and the adventures they have while
wearing the pants.

This is a great series of books that is easy to read
and would be interesting for readers of different ages because
it catches your imagination. The story is about a boy
who sacrifices his normal life and ends up a vampire so he
can save the life of his friend The name of the
first book in the series is The
Vampire's Assistant.

Life
in the Fat Lane
by
Cherie Bennett
A
scary book because the main character goes from weighing 118
pounds to 218 pounds and nobody can figure out why.
It was hard for her to be heavy because of her appearance-conscious
family.

Comes
the Blind Fury
by
John Saul
A really freaky book because people go "splat".
It's a mysterious horror book where people can't figure out
who is doing all the evil stuff and a girl gets possessed
by a doll.
