Matrix Theory

Matrix Theory, is a branch of mathematics introduced by Arthur Cayley in 1858, which focuses on the study of matrices.   Initially a sub-branch of linear algebra (the solution of systems of linear equations, which arise naturally in science, engineering, and social sciences) it soon grew to cover subjects related to graph theory,algebra, combinatorics and statistics.
