County-Wide Elementary School Cross Country Race 2011


When: Thursday, October 13, 2011
Time: First race at 4:15 pm
Where: Pioneer Park in Billings
Cost: $7 per person for registration

The Elementary School Cross Country Race will feature three one mile races (4th, 5th and 6th grade). Each race will have separate girls and boys finish line.

Please register online at www.bigskygames.org. The races are free to participants registered by October 6 and $7.00 for registrations received October 7 through October 12. There is NO EVENT DAY REGISTRATION. The 4th grade race begins at 4:15 p.m. followed by the 5th and 6th grade races. The race will be timed and scored.

The top three schools in each age group and each gender will receive awards as well as the top five individuals in each grade and gender. A traveling Spirit Trophy will be awarded to the school with the most participants. In 2010 Sandstone Elementary won the participation award with 40 runners. Participants are encouraged to show their team spirit and wear their school colors.
