The Lockwood School Food Service provides 850 to 900 meals each day to students and staff members in a one and one-half hour period. Between 150 and 250 students eat breakfast at school each morning. Lockwood serves more on-site lunches than any other school in the state of Montana. The student cost of breakfast is $1.25 and lunch is $2.00. Adults pay $3.00. Extra milk is 35¢.
Breakfast is served to students in grades kindergarten through eighth from 7:30 to 8:00 am. Children who carry lunches from home will eat in the cafeteria and may buy milk separately for 35¢ a half-pint.
The manager of the Lockwood Food Service is Mrs. Shirley Briner. The Lunch Clerk is Mrs. Pam Rule. There are twelve dedicated staff members who help to provide nutritious, hot meals for the students and staff at Lockwood School.
