The Lockwood School Food Service provides 850 to 900 meals each day to students and staff members in a one and one-half hour period. Between 150 and 250 students eat breakfast at school each morning. Lockwood serves more on-site lunches than any other school in the state of Montana. The student cost of lunch is $2.00 and the student breakfast is $1.25. Adult meals cost $3.25 for lunch and $2.00 for breakfast. An individual half pint of milk is 50 cents.
Breakfast is served to students from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Children who carry lunches from home will eat in the cafeteria and may buy milk separately for 50 cents a half-pint.
The school district's food service is provided by the Sodexo Corporation and the Lockwood manager is Kandi Phillips. The Lunch Clerk is Mrs. Pam Rule. There are many dedicated staff members who help to provide nutritious, hot meals for the students and staff at Lockwood School and the community's children during the summer months.
