Who is Mr. Caldwell?

Welcome to my web sight.  My name is Mr. Caldwell and I teach 6th grade physical education and health.  This page is meant to give you a little background on me.

I was born and raised in Great Falls, Montana.  As a kid I grew up enjoying sports.  My heroes as a kid were my wonderful parents, and a baseball player named Kirby Puckett.  kirby puckett  My favorite thing to do as a child was to play some sort of sports with my two younger brothers.

After high school, I moved to Billings, Montana and went to college at the University of Montana State-Billings.  I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education.

Following college I received a job in Bridger, Montana.  I taught a variety of classes like Middle School Science, 6th Grade, Elementary Physical Education, and Computer Classes.  I was also the high school girls' basketball coach.  We had some very good teams and exciting seasons.  After three years, I decided it was time to move back to a bigger city.  That’s when I was happy to receive a job from Lockwood School.  For the first two and a half years here, I taught Primary(K-2) P.E. and Health.  Today you find me in the wonderful world of middle school teaching 6th grade.

Today you can find me doing a wide variety of things.  I enjoy watching sports and rooting for my favorite teams.(Go:  Griz logoLakersTwinsIrishRedskins.)  Walking my three spoiled-rotten Golden Retrievers pictured at the top.  (Kirby left, Boomer middle, and Puckett right)  I also coach middle school sports like basketball and track.   Every once in a while you can catch me trying to re-live the glory days on the softball diamond or basketball court.
