I
am a music teacher at Lockwood School in Billings, Montana. I teach grades 3, 4, and 5 general
music and 5th grade beginning band.
I was born on April 16, 1971 in Sacramento, California. When I was
in second grade I moved to Shepherd, Montana. My favorite subjects
in school were choir, art and science . After graduating from Shepherd
High School I attended college at Eastern Montana College in Billings.
During my education there it changed to Montana State University
- Billings. I earned a Extended Bachelor of Science Degree in K-12
music. My first teaching job was teaching K-12 music in Lavina, Montana
where I taught Elementary music, Junior High music and High School band
and choir. I taught music there for 3 years before coming to Lockwood
School. I have worked at Lockwood since the fall of 1999.

My
husband Steve and I married in 2002 in Las Vegas, Nevada while we were
there for a Nascar Race. We farm on the west end of Billings on
the homestead of my husband's great grandparents. We have a son
named Seth who was born in July 2005, and 2 border collies, Molly &
Romo.
When I am not in school teaching music I like to spend time with family
and friends. Some of the activities that I like to do are: snow
and water skiing, camping, swimming, gardening, and attending sporting
events (Go Broncos!). My husband and I also like to travel to new and
exciting places!
