Meet Mrs. Lemke     

Welcome to 5th grade!  I am Mrs. Lemke, your language and

spelling teacher.  I love learning about the English language, playing with words in puzzles and books, and writing stories and poems.  In my class, you will meet Mrs. Obnoxious, Inspector Clue-So and Woovis, the cartoon dog.  We will solve word puzzles and laugh at language and spelling cartoons.  I am the only fifth grade teacher who gives you two grades on your report card, and English is the only class that deserves a capital letter! 

I am married to a geologist named Pat and have two great daughters.  Kelli is a junior and loves horses and skiing.  Kim is a freshman and loves cats, dogs and Spiderman!  We love to ski, camp, backpack and kayak together.  I love chocolate, Diet Pepsi, playing outside in the sun, and running.  My favorite color is blue, and I love the book, The Hiding Place.   We go to Faith Evangelical church and have a dog named Bridger, cat named Rascal and a quarter horse named Willow.

   E njoys skiing, backpacking, kayaking, and being a Christian

   N othing could be better than teaching 5th graders!

    I s married and has two great daughters

    S ometimes is driven crazy by a puppy, cat and horse at home

    E very season has an outdoor sport that my family and I enjoy together!
