I was born and raised in Miles City, Montana. After attending the Catholic school system in Miles City for 12 years, I graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1980. My education continued at Montana State University Billings, where I earned a BA degree in Business in May of 1985. After 2 years in the business field, I returned to college and earned a BS degree in Education with a major in Broadfield Social Studies. In August of 1990 I was hired by Lockwood School to teach 7th and 8th grade Social Studies.

In addition to teaching, I am also involved in coaching. I coached football and basketball at Lockwood for 10 years. I then moved to Senior High were I coached Freshman football for 5 years. At Senior High, I also coached JV/Varsity boy's basketball for 4 years. I am currently a JV/Varsity boy's basketball coach at Skyview High.

My wife Sandi and I have a son, Eli, and two Golden Retrievers, Jake and Bridger. We love all kinds of sports and travel as much as possible.
