1. Students can always write out and about activities that they have done
and how mathematics was involved or used.

2. Students can make up math word problems that involve deep thinking. They must
include the solution and an explanation of the solution.


3. Students can construct a mathematical game. It must include directions to play and
a list of the materials needed to play. The game must be original and not copy
any of the marketed board games.

4. Students may complete and turn in a Su-Do-Ko puzzle.
The puzzle can be from the news paper or a puzzle book.

Puzzles can be printed off of this Su-Do-Ko Website .

5. Students can watch a showing of the weekly series of "Numb3rs" and write at least

a five sentence paragraph describing,in great depth,what takes place on that episode.

"Numb3ers aires at 9:00pm, Friday nights on the local CBS channel.
