In May, 2006, the voters of the Lockwood community passed a bond levy for the construction of a much needed new Middle School. Community members, school staff, and students were involved in months of planning for the project, and on May 25, 2007, a ground breaking ceremony was held. Construction began in the early summer of 2007and was completed in the fall of 2008.
