Substitutes for teachers and support staff are always in demand at Lockwood School District #26. If you are interested in working as a substitute, please stop by the administration office and pick up an application, call Debbie Strizich at 252-6022 or download an application from this page.

Teachers:
It is preferred that substitute teachers be certified. Certified substitute teachers will be paid $75 a day and non-certified substitute teachers will receive $70 per day. Paraprofessional & Food Service Staff:
Lockwood Schools are seeking friendly, caring people to work as teaching assistants and/or food service substitutes. Short hours during the school day make this a good employment opportunity for moms or for senior citizens who may want to supplement their incomes. Substitutes for support staff will be paid an hourly rate of $7.50. Click on the Support Staff Substitute Application link to download an application form. It is a Word document.

Custodial Staff:
Custodial substitutes are needed. There are two shifts for custodial work. One shift is from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The other shift is from 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. The rate of pay is $7.50 per hour. Any employee or volunteer seeking assignment at Lockwood School must have this form which authorizes a complete background investigation. This is necessary to protect the safety and welfare of the children in the Lockwood School District. The cost of the background check with fingerprints is $34.00.

*All employees, including substitutes, must have a TB test.
